Do you have any students that you might consider absent-minded or careless? In this session, we’ll learn how to diagnose the root causes of memory issues with a problem-solving flowchart. We’ll investigate the 4 most common reasons that students struggle with memory: poor encoding into short-term memory, poor processing in working memory, poor storage in long-term memory, and poor retrieval from long-term memory. Then, we’ll explore targeted, effective interventions you can use with your students to improve their memory skills. Walk away with a bank of strategies to try. Targeted Audience: K-12
